Drivability:
4-wheel drive is recommended in general for the smoky mountain area, but it is not required. There are hills to drive up, there are a few hairpin turns, and it is driving up a mountain, as our cabin is located towards the top. With that being said, the roads are paved very well, and we have driven uhauls, vans, and 2-wheel cars up to the cabin with no problem at all. It is no different than other mountaintop homes in Gatlinburg, but if you are not familiar with driving up mountains in Gatlinburg, and you are nervous of driving up hills, please keep this in mind.

Parking:
Plenty of free parking can fit up to 6 cars.

Well Water:
We do have a well water system, so please be mindful of your water usage.

AC:
The minimum temperature is set to 68F. Please do not go lower than that as it can cause issues to the AC/Circuit Breaker.

THE EVENT SPACE:
We do have a space for events such as weddings, corporate events, yoga retreats, birthdays, and so on. The space will never be booked to someone else while you stay at the cabin. The event space is NOT included in your Airbnb booking. It can be booked separately if interested, please just message us for more details. If you do not book the event space, you are not allowed on the event platform at any time during your stay. We do have 24-7 surveillance of the event space. If you attempt to go on the platform or use the event space without booking it, you will be subject to having your reservation canceled, along with a $500 fine.

Essentials:
Linens, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, bath towels, dishwasher pods or detergent, laundry pods or detergent, and trash bags are provided.

Private Access:
You have full access to the entire cabin (this does not include the event space outside).

Restaurants/Grocery Stores:
Kroger, Publix, Food City, and more are all within 10-15 minutes from the cabin to stock up on all your food & drink needs. There are great pancake houses, restaurants, diners, ice cream shops, and more close by to add to the Smoky Mountain Experience.

Propane Tanks:
The outside grill and outside fireplace run off a propane tank. We try to have them filled for easy guest use, but a filled propane tank is not included with your booking. If they run out during your stay, the propane tank can be taken to Kroger or Walmart nearby to be refilled.

Outdoor Lights:
Please be sure to turn the lights off at night once you are finished enjoying the outdoor space.

Exterior Doors:
Please keep the doors closed to avoid insects from entering the home. We are in the mountains and try our best to keep a clean interior of the home.

Indoor Tub:
Please only fill the indoor tub up to 1/2-3/4th of the way when taking a bath. We use well water and try our best to be conscious of water use.

Final Thoughts:
We own the cabin next door as well. Both cabins are located on our private road. If the other cabin is rented, please be courteous and respectful with your noise and the space. If you want to rent both cabins, we do have a listing for both, and/or can assist via messaging.

This cabin is truly in a special location that keeps you close enough to where you can enjoy everything there is to offer, but far enough to where you have a woodsy cabin feel. Located on a dead-end road at the top of a mountain, the views and peaceful atmosphere from the cabin are special. Come experience the Smoky Mountains like never before.
